* Let it snow * Let it snow * Let it snow *

Last night we were at a super fun Christmas party hosted by Evan & Robin Wyman. They went all out and it was very chic! We were having alot of fun with our college friends and some of Jeremy's Lakeside buddies but we had to leave early thanks to the "Winter Blast 2008". It was snowing really hard at Evan's house on the lake in Seattle so we checked in with Jeremy's mom who was babysitting at our house. We're at the top of a very high hill and she told us that the snowplows had been going by all night and there were a couple of inches of snow. So we had to leave the party to head home. Luckily we made it just fine and we were happy to come home to a beautiful snowy scene.

The kids of course were thrilled to wake up this morning to a winter wonderland. Ragen listed off about 15 things that he was going to do once he got outside to play in the snow. We waited awhile though to hopefully allow it to warm up a bit (it really didn't) but some of the snow was melting so we headed out.

Ragen loved making snow angels and when we tried to tell Maggie how to do one, she had us both laughing so hard because when I told her "now move your arms up and down", she followed my directions and waved her arms in the air not the snow. She also loved eating the snow and everytime she took a mouthful, she'd say "ummm, snow, good" and then make a lip smacking sound.

I love living at the top of Lakemont because we tend to get snow more often than most. I'm holding out hope that we'll have a white Christmas!
